| Château Le PRIEUR was purchased by the Garzaro family at the beginning of the 20th century. The main house is located at the foot of a hillside composed of the renown clay and chalk soil, which continues throughout the vineyard. It used to belong to the La Sauve Abbey and was used as a place of calm for monks to meditate.
Today, Pierre-Etienne, Jean David and Silvain Garzaro manage 70 hectares of vines in Baron, a village in the AOC Entre-Deux-Mers, as well as 10 additional hectares located in the AOCs Pomerol, Lalande-de-Pomerol and Saint-Emilion-Grand-Cru
